Melalui Apple Music, YUNGBLUD mengatakan bahwa lagu ini ditulis ketika tengah berada di studio, ia mengingat salah satu fannya berkata bahwa kekasihnya baru saja meninggal dan awalnya mereka akan datang bersama ke konser YUNGBLUD.
