"Missed" pertama kali ia bawakan dalam audisinya untuk acara X Factor di Britania Raya musim kesembilan pada 2012 lalu.

Ella mengatakan ia menulis lagu ini ketika ia sedang merasa sedih dan lagu ini bercerita tentang kakeknya yang meninggal ketika ia masih kecil.
