Ramai di TikTok, Ini Lirik Lagu Yel-yel Laut/Sea Shanty Wellerman

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Lagu yel-yel laut atau sea shanty bertajuk "Wellerman" yang kini ramai di TikTok merupakan lagu rakyat dari Selandia Baru pada abad ke-19.

Tidak diketahui siapa penulis atau pencipta dari lagu tersebut.

Sea shanty "Wellerman" menjadi ramai di TikTok karena dibawakan kembali oleh penyanyi Skotlandia, Nathan Evans, dengan username @nathanevanss.

Lagu ini juga sempat dinyanyikan kembali oleh berbagai grup musik yang membawakan lagu tardisional seperti The Norfolk Broads dan The Longest John.
