Duo musik beraliran folk ini dibentuk pada tahun 2011 oleh seniman Elda Suryani (vokal) dan Adi Widodo (gitar).

Setelah berkarir bersama Elda untuk beberapa tahun, pada tahun 2019 Adi mengumumkan keputusannya untuk hengkang dari Stars and Rabbit untuk fokus pada pekerjaannya. Posisi Adi digantikan oleh Didit Saad.
